The dollar rate in Ukraine soars higher

Today, October 2, the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has established such rates of major foreign currencies against the hryvnia:

1 USD – UAH 26,57;
1 Euro – 31,37 UAH;
10 Russian rubles – UAH 4,58.

Thus, the dollar exchange rate, compared with values Friday, 29 September, rose another five cents. Last week, the dollar rose a total of 26 cents. In General, “green” is not worth so much since the end of may.

The Euro rose to 14 cents. The Russian ruble is “recovered” for five cents.

On Friday, September 29, the dollar on the interbank foreign exchange market increased by 11 kopecks in buying and selling; trading ended quotes 26,6 – 26,63 UAH/USD. Euro on the interbank market traded at 31,46 – 31,5 UAH, up 22 cents. Today’s auction has not started yet.

Recall that under the baseline scenario, Ukraine’s first three-year Budget resolution, in 2017, the average annual hryvnia exchange rate is projected at 27.8 million UAH/USD., in 2018 on the $ 29.3 UAH/USD., in 2019 – 30.5 UAH/USD. and in 2020 – 31 UAH/USD. In the draft state budget, which is September 15, the Cabinet submitted to Parliament, stated that the calculations were made according to 30.1 UAH/USD. In the Ministry of Finance and the NBU assure – this course is not a forecast because it should be seen only as a technical parameter, taken for calculations to create a “safety cushion”.

The experts at the end of 2017 to give other predictions: in the Razumkov Centre promise a course in the area of 27 hryvnia in the second half, and Concorde Capital assume that at the end of this year the dollar will cost 28,5 hryvnia.
