In 2017, doubling the amount of development costs and the purchase of arms and military equipment in Ukraine. This was announced by Deputy Director of the Finance Department of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, Colonel Sergei Galinski, UNIAN reports.
“Specified amount of funds (33.8 billion UAH is provided for logistical support of the Ministry of defense. – Ed.) allows you to use them for priorities: first of all, the cost of developing and purchasing weapons and military equipment in 2017, more than double compared with the year 2016”, – he said.

“The cost of repair of weapons and military equipment, to the clothing provision, housing provision as a whole increased by half compared to last year,” said Galinsky.
As reported, Ukraine withdrew from the agreement with Russia on the export of military equipment.
