The ex-President of Georgia, former head of the Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili together with his son, Vice-President of the European Parliament, MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, and a group of Ukrainian politicians and deputies went from Rzeszow to the Polish side of the checkpoint through the Ukrainian-Polish border “Krakovets”.
“Mikhail Saakashvili. A small inclusion of Rzeszow. Departure to the border,” – wrote in his page on Facebook former Ukrainian lawmaker Yehor Firsov.

Together with Saakashvili to the Ukrainian-Polish border rides the head of fraction of party “Batkivshchyna” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and a number of MPs from her faction.
Also in the bus are non-faction people’s deputies Dmytro Dobrodomov and Viktor Chumak, the leader of the party “Justice” Valentin Nalyvaychenko.
In addition, Firsov added that Saakashvili would be on the border with Ukraine during an hour.

Recall that in late July, Mikheil Saakashvili was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship because of the provision of false information in the application for citizenship.
The former head of the Odessa regional state administration denies any wrongdoing and vowed to appeal the decision on deprivation of his Ukrainian passport.
At the beginning of September, Ukraine received from Georgia’s request for the arrest and extradition of Saakashvili. In Georgia ex-President faces up to 11 years in prison on the four felony cases. He is suspected of involvement in the killing, raiding and misappropriating public funds. In turn, the Georgian ex-President says the criminal case was fabricated with the purpose of political persecution.
