The price of LPG in Ukraine after a weekend soared even higher

For the period from 23 to 28 August, the price of LPG in large networks in Kiev has grown on average by 50 kopecks./l to 16.5 UAH/liter. this was reported in the “Consulting group A-95”, referring to its price monitoring of the market, writes EnKorr.

The average gas price across the country increased by 65 kopecks./l to 15.98 UAH/liter.

The main factor of rise in price of petrol, analysts say the shortage of resources. Analyst “A-95” Artem Kuyun believes that the crisis faced by gas suppliers, was much stronger than expected.

“And it’s not so much the assessment of scarce volumes, as in the impossibility of this shortage close: in Ukraine there is a lack of cars, and those that are, “Ukrzaliznytsia” unable to use effectively. The most acute shortage of gas at the pump felt in the South and West of the country. No gas for the individual stations and major networks,” said Kuyun.

The experts predict a stabilization of retail prices for mid-September. As is known, the current cost of petrol has hit a record low.

We will remind, the head of Department on work with clients “Profiles” Evgeny Ustimenko also sure that petrol will become cheaper and prices at the gas station will return to a level below 10 UAH.
