The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on August 24 will hold talks with U.S. Secretary of defense James Mattis, who will visit Kiev to attend the celebrations on the occasion of independence Day of Ukraine.

“The first in the last ten years, the visit to Ukraine of the Minister of defense will be held in accordance with preliminary agreements with the American side, reached during the visit of the head of state in the United States in June of this year”, – stated in the message.
The ceremony will begin at 12:00 in the presidential Administration on Bankova street.
