For seven months of 2017 from the wages of people’s deputies of Ukraine UAH 3.5 million was deducted for missing the plenary meetings of the Verkhovna Rada. The same data was published by the Committee of voters of Ukraine (CVU), referring to the response of the staff of the Parliament.
So that as a result of payroll only for the days actually worked during the seven months of 2017 formed a savings in the amount of 3 549 074,32 hryvnia.
According to CVU, only 45 people’s deputies attended all meetings of Parliament during the sixth session. The remaining 377 deputies have missed one or more sessions and did not get part of the wages.
From the beginning of 2017 held 71 plenary session of the Parliament.
As reported, the salary Fund of the Verkhovna Rada this year is 548,4 million hryvnia. The contents of one Deputy costs the state budget of Ukraine 80 thousand hryvnia per month.
