From the beginning of 2017 in Ukraine 1337 people died in road accidents. This was announced by first Deputy head of Patrol police Department of Ukraine Alexey Biloshitsky.

According to him, during this period there were more than 76 thousand accidents, which injured 15 thousand people. “In the first half of 2017 on the territory of Ukraine there were more than 76 thousand accidents, 15 thousand people were injured and 1377 people died”, – said Biloshitsky.
He said that one of the reasons is driving while intoxicated.
We will remind, earlier Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman informed that on roads of Ukraine since the beginning of 2014 killed by 12.4 thousand people. In addition, according to the head of the government, were traumatized different severity about 100 thousand people.
Earlier it was reported that in the Volyn region the truck flew into a group of teenagers, two girls were killed.
