Ukraine in January-July 2017 increased the transit of Russian gas by 22.8% compared to the same period of 2016 to 52.3 billion cubic metres, which is the highest figure for the last six years. About it reported in a press-service of PJSC “Ukrtransgaz”.
As reported, the gas imports of the European countries in seven months of 2017 has increased in 2.4 times – up to 8.1 billion cubic meters and domestic gas production – by 2.7%, to 12 billion cubic meters.

Gas consumption in the country during the reporting period amounted to 17 billion cubic meters, which corresponds to last year.
We will remind, Ukraine has markedly increased the reserves of gas for winter – Pazmany storage is already more gas than in July last year.
