The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in the opening of a new plant in Sumy group Gualapack Group for the production of packaging for baby food.
“Today opens an extremely important production, which is a powerful Italian investor made the decision to construct in Ukraine. He already has positive experience of open in 2014, the production of very high quality products, very competitive cost, very favorable investment climate. Therefore, it was decided the construction of the second phase – and, as I said, it will not stop,” – said Poroshenko.
He noted that the opening of the production will give Ukraine about 300 new jobs and the average salary must be more than 12 thousand UAH.
“Production will pay tens of millions hryvnias of taxes. They carry out and will carry out charity initiatives to help children, hospitals, city. Only 15% of production will be consumed on the Ukrainian market, and 85% to go abroad, demonstrating the quality of Ukrainian products and competitiveness. This is the product for Ukrainian children – high quality, modern and healthy” – added the head of state.
He reminded that Ukraine in three years of war has opened 60 new plants.
