President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko sent his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko a congratulatory letter in honor of the independence Day of Belarus. About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.
The Ukrainian head of state noted that the development of neighborly Belarusian-Ukrainian relations, based on principles of equal partnership and trust is the most important priority of bilateral cooperation of Ukraine and Belarus.
“Effective coordination of joint efforts on implementation of tasks of a practical nature contributes to the successful implementation of the agreements reached during our meeting in April. I am confident that your upcoming visit to Ukraine will be another important step towards the deepening of a constructive dialogue between the two countries,” – said in a letter to the President.
The head of state wished his Belarusian counterpart strong health, happiness and continued success in the high office, and the friendly people of Belarus peace and prosperity.
