Hurricane in Moscow: lightning damaged two aircraft in the air

On approach to Moscow, the zipper was damaged two passenger aircraft due to the raging hurricane. About it reports “Interfax” citing a source in the emergency services.

“According to the report the day before the defeat by a discharge of atmospheric electricity got the plane “Boeing”, traveling from Astrakhan in “Vnukovo” and “Airbus”, returning from Prague to Sheremetyevo, the source said.

It is noted that, despite damage to the plane, anybody from passengers has not suffered.

“One of the aircraft melted a few rivets on the fuselage skin, on the other discovered damage on one of the stabilizers and cowlings,” said the source.

As reported earlier today, in Moscow raged the tempest – the city bombarded by hail and flooded with water.
