The Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak discussed with the Minister of defense of Canada Hargita Singh Sajjan of the events in the Donbas. This reports the press service of the defense Ministry of Ukraine, reports TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“Today, June 29, in the framework of the working visit to Brussels the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak took part in the meeting of Ministers of member countries of the Alliance and has held a series of bilateral meetings in the headquarters of NATO,” – said the press service.
Also met with the Minister of national defence of Canada Hargita Singh Sajjan.
“During the meeting the head of the defense Ministry of Ukraine informed the canadian counterpart about the situation in the East of the country and discussed the prospects of defense cooperation and the possible purchase of military equipment from Canada for the next year”, – said the defense Ministry.
The Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak Sajan invited to visit Ukraine in August, during the celebrations on the occasion of independence Day of Ukraine.
