The Russian Embassy sent a note to the French foreign Ministry with a request to thoroughly investigate the matter. This was stated at a briefing speaker of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, reports the press service of the Russian authorities.

According to her, a suburb of Paris, where it was attacked, is considered quite the crime. She believes that the attack was a banal theft of a bag.
“There was an attack and robbery on a car leased for work with the Russian delegation. The delegation is participating in the aerospace show in Le Bourget. In the attack, the criminals stole a bag of the driver of this car. The driver was a woman who is not a citizen of the Russian Federation. In the bag there was money, documents. It was the stuff directly to the driver of the car. Forces staff of the Russian delegation, which was in the car, managed to neutralize the situation. As a result, unfortunately, he got injured. The police were called,” – said Zakharov.
She said that after the incident, the police were able to detain on “hot pursuit” of four suspects.
