The Verkhovna Rada Committee on healthcare I could not decide: send back for revision or to reject a government draft law on the state financial guarantees for providing medical services and medicines.
The Committee members are unable to make a decision at a meeting on Wednesday, June 7, while the government bill was not supported.
Among the comments, the deputies noted in particular the lack of regulation in the draft law, issues of medical care to the poor and children up to three years, the lack of clear besplatnih list of guaranteed medical services, the lack of guarantees to host the opening and funding of pathology services, etc.
In turn, the Deputy Minister of health Roman Ilyk said that the Ministry of health has previously written to the Committee their proposals for changes to the alternative draft law “On state financial guarantees”.
He stressed that in the case of the inclusion of these observations in an alternative bill, the Ministry is ready to support it.
The head of the parliamentary Committee Olga Bogomolets reported that the Committee had not received such an offer.
