Ukraine and NATO countries should act together in opposition to Russian aggression. This was stated by the Chairman of the Ukrainian delegation to the NATO parliamentary Assembly, MP Iryna Friz, the press service of the BPP.
She reminded that Russia is waging a hybrid war not only against Ukraine but also against the countries-members of NATO.
“Putin opened Pandora’s box and we must give it back. And you, Madam Vice President, are completely right that we need to be strong and then you will be able to resist. Because our disunity Putin used the principle of “divide and conquer”. Therefore, our solidarity, our cohesion, unity will help efficiently together to confront the global aggressor,” said Freese, referring to the Vice-President of the NATO PA Rasa juknevičienė.
Ukrainian politician reminded that Ukraine has transferred materials of the crimes of Russia in the Crimea.
“In fact, it makes the once flourishing Ukrainian Peninsula Ukrainian pearl on a modern military base, the power of which is directed against the members of NATO”, – she noted.
Irina Friz also drew attention to the importance of the topic of terrorism, especially when it’s supported by Russia.
“Allow me to convey to you the report of Ukraine on cooperation of Russia with terrorist organizations, channels of communication and coordination. I think it can be useful for your report on the final stage,” added Freese.
As reported, the parliamentary Assembly of NATO see Ukraine as the main defender of the countries-members of the Alliance of the Russian threat.
