The court dismissed the appeal on the decision on special confiscation of 1.5 billion dollars of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his entourage. This was reported on the official website of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine (GPU) to Facebook.
“The appeal court of Donetsk region refused to open proceedings for the confiscation of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars according to the materials of the appeal of lawyers who are representatives of the non-resident enterprises of a criminal organization Yanukovych,” — said the GPU.
In this case, the Prosecutor’s office has not yet received the decision of the court.
Recall that in late April, Oschadbank began to special confiscation of 1.5 billion dollars of ex-President of Ukraine Yanukovych and his entourage by the decision of the court of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region.
