The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the administrative arrangements for the protection of information with restricted access between the government of Ukraine and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
For a decision (No. 0144) voted 231 deputies at the plenary meeting on Wednesday, may 24.
Administrative agreement on the protection of information with restricted access between the government of Ukraine and NATO was signed on 28 September 2016 in Kiev.
The agreement determines the terms relating to information with limited access, which coordinates the equivalence of the security levels limit access of parties.
The agreement also defines the competent security authorities responsible for the implementation of the administrative agreement, the admission and provision of access to information with limited access, requirements for the rules of the exchange, control and use of such information, the order of actions in case of violation of safety rules that affect this information.
Actors of implementation of this international Treaty on the Ukrainian side are the state bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations according to national legislation, carry out activities related to state secrets, and received permission to transfer classified information to a foreign partner.
As reported on may 23, the Verkhovna Rada endorsed a bill on quotas of Ukrainian language, binding to increase its share on the Ukrainian TV channels to 75%.
