Because of the upcoming visa-free regime for Ukrainians Poland increases the number of customs officers on the border with Ukraine. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance, transfers “UKRINFORM”.
In Poland suggest that a substantial increase in the number of people willing to cross the border.
“In connection with the planned abolition of visas for citizens of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance plans to expand the number of staff on the Polish-Ukrainian stretch of the state border at the expense of additional posts taking into account the projected demand and the likely increase in border traffic,” – said the Polish authorities.
The number of customs officers at checkpoints leaders of change will determine, depending on the situation.
As you know, the EU signed the decision on visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens. It is expected that it will enter into force on 11 June 2017.
