The security service of Ukraine in Crimea has opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of the order of entry/exit in the temporarily occupied by Russia territory of Crimea by foreigners who during 20-22 April 2017 participated in the so-called “world economic forum” in Yalta.
As reported on Tuesday the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea (based in Kiev), in the Unified register of pretrial investigations included information on the fact of violation of the order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it by foreigners who participated in the economic forum in Yalta.
“In particular, they helped the occupation authorities to develop tourism on the Peninsula, called for the lifting of sanctions and recognition of the results of an illegal “referendum” on secession of Crimea from Ukraine and its entry into the Russian Federation”, – is told in the message.
The Prosecutor’s office of the Crimea Prosecutor’s office performs procedural management in criminal proceedings on the grounds of criminal offenses under part 1 of article 332-1 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (violation of the order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it”.
In addition, the Prosecutor’s office is preparing international orders to the countries whose citizens participated in the “forum” and violated the legislation of Ukraine.
“Also the Prosecutor’s office will assess the funds for this “forum”, namely the involvement of individual companies, which became partners in its realization”, – is told in the message.
