The President of the International court of justice in the Hague on 12 may will announce a decision on further consideration of the claim of Ukraine against Russia. This was said by Deputy foreign Minister Elena zerkal during the meeting with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the participation of the foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin and Deputy head of the presidential administration Konstantin Yeliseyev, reports a press-service of the head of state.
According to her, in its decision, the international court of justice has supported Ukraine.
“This is especially important because it comes to one of the permanent members of the UN security Council. 12 may we meet again in the Hague, and the President of the court will make the decision on the further consideration of the case, namely how it will move and how much we will have time for the preparation of the Memorandum, where we must put all the evidence in detail, including the subjective side of this matter,” – said zerkal.
We will remind, on April 19 the international court of justice in the Hague refused to fully satisfy claims of Ukraine regarding interim measures against Russia. The judges appeared to be little evidence of Ukraine on financing of terrorism by Russia.
In turn, Petro Poroshenko outlined the key points in the decision of the Hague on Russia. He noted that the failure of Moscow, decisions of the court of justice, it will be sanctioned.
In addition, the President stated that the next goal of Ukraine in the trial will be the recognition of Russia as aggressor.
At the same time, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia has declared that is satisfied by the court decision, continuing to deny the aggression against Ukraine and occupation of its territories.
