The speaker of the foreign Ministry of Russia Maria Zakharova said that in Russia there are more than 2 million citizens of Ukraine. About the speaker of the Russian foreign Ministry said at a briefing.
“According to the FMS of Russia, the total number of Ukrainian citizens staying in the Russian Federation, as of March 16, 2017 is 2 million 300 thousand 320 people, of whom over 1 million are immigrants from the South – East of Ukraine”, – said Zakharov.
Earlier it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada has simplified the procedure of registration of internally displaced persons.
