“Naftogaz of Ukraine” does not import natural gas under the contract with JSC “Gazprom” for 500 days, from 26 November 2015, when purchasing online exclusively on its Western border.
According to the operative data “Ukrtransgaz”, as of 8 April 2017 gas were imported in the daily mode 15,756 million cubic meters (Slovakia – 9,995 million cubic meters, Hungary – 3,303 million cubic meters, Poland – 2,458 million cubic meters). In General, during 1-8 April, imports amounted to 123,6 million cubic meters.
Gas production in Ukraine 8 April was 57,134 million cubic meters (“ukrgazvidobuvannya” – 41,542 million cubic meters, “Ukrnafta” – 3,280 million cubic metres to other companies – 12,312 million cubic meters). Overall for April 1-8 domestic production amounted to 455,6 million cubic meters.
As of April 8, in underground storage was 8 billion 307,11 million cubic meters of gas, which is 1.1% more than on March 30. For April 1-8 download exceeded selection on 89,15 million cubic meters, the Smallest gas reserves in underground storage facilities during the heating season 2016/2017 was recorded March 22 – 8 billion 100,43 million cubic meters.
Gas transit through Ukraine’s GTS at the end of April 1-8 amounted to 1,907 billion cubic meters or an average – 238,4 million cubic meters per day.
Recall that in April, Ukraine could receive the first decision of the Stockholm arbitration the claim to “Gazprom” on the gas contract, which in 2009 agreed to Tymoshenko and Putin. Also in Stockholm is the second claim of “Naftogaz” for the transit contract.
