The sounds of the mother’s voice positively influence the condition of premature babies. Reported by scientists, published their study in the journal Acta Paediatrica.
During the experiment, the researchers analyzed 15 studies in which was discussed a total of 512 infants born 2000-2015.
It turned out that listening to mother’s voice, no matter live or on recording, has a positive impact on premature babies. It is noted that the sound of mother’s voice contributed to a better stabilization of the child in terms of physiology and behavior.
However, the researchers note that while these data are not sufficient to speak on long-term effect. In addition, the voice alone is not enough – the main role still plays a medical care. However, maternal singing and talking have little visible support.
Meanwhile, other scientists have calculated the happiest age in a man’s life.
