The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in a telephone conversation discussed prospects of development of bilateral relations and agreed to intensify political dialogue at all levels.
“The sides discussed the state and prospects of development of bilateral relations. The heads of state agreed to intensify bilateral political dialogue at all levels”, – the press service of the Ukrainian President.
The presidents stressed the importance of the full implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian mixed Commission on trade-economic cooperation, which took place at the end of last year.
Lukashenko welcomed the appointment of Ambassador of Ukraine in Belarus.
