NACP starts a full verification of declarations of seven deputies, two prosecutors and a former judge

The national Agency for prevention of corruption starts a full verification of declarations 11 persons authorized to perform state functions or local government, including 7 MPs.

It is noted that the basis to conduct a full verification of declarations was information about the possible reflection in the declarations of false information, NACP received from individuals, community organizations and law enforcement agencies.

The Ministry did not elaborate on the verification of documents which the deputies in question merely emphasized that the authorized persons NACP will check Declaration of 7 deputies, the Prosecutor of the Kiev Prosecutor’s office, military Prosecutor, former judges and employees of the State service for emergency situations.

In addition, NACP reported 20 failures in carrying out a full check of declarations on the appeals of individuals, legal entities, media and other sources about the possible reflection in the declarations of false information.

We will remind, the system of electronic declaring of incomes of senior officials is one of the requirements of the law “On corruption prevention”.

The first stage of electronic filing of declarations was completed at the end of October 2016. The second wave of electronic Declaration began on 1 January 2017 and will last until April 1 for civil servants and officials who work in government and local self-government, in state and municipal institutions, establishments and organizations.
