The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation headed by Minister of economy Shahin Mustafayev today, March 14, discussed the cooperation in the shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. “The sides stressed the readiness to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in trade-economic sphere”, – stated in the message.
As noted, Poroshenko praised dynamics of relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, which has become possible also thanks to the activation of bilateral contacts between the presidents of the countries.

In this context, the President of Ukraine has underlined the importance of carrying out in 2017 in Kiev of the 12th meeting of the Joint intergovernmental Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Commission on economic cooperation.
“Special attention was paid to promising projects of cooperation in shipbuilding and aircraft construction, pharmaceuticals, agriculture,” – said the press service of the President of Ukraine.
Poroshenko also expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
In addition, the President confirmed that the position regarding the support of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the issue of restoration of territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
