The average size of subsidies for housing and communal services in January of 2016 in Ukraine increased in comparison with January of 2015 by 15%. Thus, according to the state statistics service, the amount of subsidies amounted to an average of UAH 1 521.
The largest subsidies benefit the residents of the Western regions of Ukraine – Ternopil (2 043 UAH), Ivano-Frankivsk (1 979 UAH) and Rivne (1 960 UAH). The lowest average amount of subsidy fixed in Odesa region – UAH 998.
The number of families that receive housing subsidies in the country has reached to 40.7% of the total number of households. Above all, the figure in the Sumy region – 61,4%, and the Odessa of 14.6%.
As you know, in January, the subsidies spent 920 million.
Recall that in March 2017 in Ukraine will result in a recalculation of subsidies in connection with the planned increase in electricity prices. In addition, subsidianes, heating bills which are formed according to the rule based on the actual outdoor temperature will be compensated the difference is due to a change of the tariff for heat.
