Chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko reacted to the death of Colonel-General Viktor Vorobyov, who died as a result of cardiovascular disease, reports “Press Ukraine”.
“It has been my honor to serve with him … Today we suddenly lost one of the best generals in the history of Ukraine, General-Colonel Gennady Petrovich Vorobyov”, – said Muzhenko.
In addition, he noted that Colonel-General Vorobyov had a very strong reputation among military, armed forces and were given military training where he spent his life.
“His knowledge, attitude and love for the Motherland earned him enormous prestige among the entire personnel of the armed forces. Devotion to the military, developed strategic thinking and extraordinary balanced decisions – these are the main features of Gennady Petrovich,” – said Muzhenko.
It is worth noting that the death of a famous Ukrainian General did not leave indifferent the public. Many of the security forces, including having high grades, write words of sympathy. They are joined by volunteers and members of hostilities in the Donbass, who were familiar with Vorobiev and worked with him for some time.
