The waves washed up on British beaches 360 kilos of cocaine

The waves washed up on the beaches in the British County of Norfolk about 360 kilograms of cocaine, reports the Guardian.

The main part of the drug found on the North sea coast near the village of Hopton-on-sea cocaine was packaged in multiple waterproof bags-garment bags.

The residue is noticed on the beach near the settlement, Caister-on-sea, located 16 kilometers to the North. The total value of found goods is estimated at £ 50 million.

The investigation leads the UK National Agency for combating crime (NCA).

“We work with the border forces, coast guard and Norfolk police to establish how these bags got here, — said the investigator NCA Matthew rivers. — It is highly unlikely that this was their destination.”
