Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Ukraine and Russia in the near future, however, the date will be announced later. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu at a joint with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin briefing, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
“Both visits will be held in the near future. Soon we will announce dates of the visit of our President to Moscow, and in Kiev”, – said Cavusoglu.
According to him, during a visit to Moscow Erdogan will discuss cooperation on Syria, but the purpose of his visit to Kiev said.
“With Russia we have a joint work we are doing in Syria. In order to achieve success in this plane, we need to follow the rules, unfortunately, they are violated. It is necessary to start the Geneva process from the point where it stopped and continue it,” said Cavusoglu.
Recall, February 9 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with Mevlut Cavusoglu. The meeting discussed the agenda of the spring meeting of the Strategic Council.
