The national anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) register for next week’s proceedings on the fact of possible abuse, officials of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the Deposit guarantee Fund of individuals (fgvfl), in particular, the published record of negotiations of the Deputy Chairman of the national Bank Ekaterina Rozhkova with shareholders. This was announced today, February 10, Director of the NABU Sytnyk.
“We’re going to register next week that on the specified fact”, – said the head of NABOO.
He does not exclude that this production will be claimed, if the anti-corruption Prosecutor will agree on an appropriate it solution.
“We will conduct the investigation or with this production, and if not claimed, we will conduct a separate investigation,” – said the Director of the Bureau.
Regarding the meeting head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva and the head of Vnesheconombank (VEB) Sergey Gor, he said that the NAB will investigate these facts in the presence of suspicions of corruption.
Sytnik said that NABOO will try to intensify the investigation of top management of the Bank, as they are very relevant, and public attention to them increases.
As reported, the NEB began a preliminary investigation in respect of Gontareva and managing Director of the Fund Konstantin Vorushilin.
The Bureau made the statement in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and initiated pre-trial investigation on the grounds of criminal offense under part 3 St. 365-2 (abuse of authority by persons providing public services) criminal code of Ukraine.
