Wife arrested in Russia Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko Angela said he hasn’t spoken with her husband since the time he was detained by the FSB, the TV channel “112 Ukraine” .
“For all these 4 months and even more my Novel wasn’t talking. He is forbidden calls. We can chat or through a lawyer, or he writes letters to us. We are also prohibited,” said Sushchenko.
According to her, after a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the family increased confidence that the situation with Roman Sushchenko soon be resolved and he will return home.
“Confidence increased. We realized that our family was not left alone with the trouble, problem. We are very pleased that the President on this day (the birthday of the Roman Sushchenko – ed.) we met our family for which we are very grateful,” she says.
Sushchenko also noted that directly from the Russian Federation contact no one goes out, all communication through lawyers. The latter are confident in the success of the business, and that Roman Sushchenko will soon be released.

As you know, 30 Sep FSB of Russia have detained in Moscow the journalist of UKRINFORM Roman Sushchenko on suspicion of espionage. In the Russian security services believe that Sushchenko is an employee of the Main intelligence Directorate of the defense Ministry of Ukraine. In the Ukrainian intelligence involvement Sushchenko the Agency does not confirm.
UKRINFORM called the detention in the Russian Federation Sushchenko-planned provocation. The Ukrainian foreign Ministry called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia over the detention of the journalist.
