An earthquake measuring 4.4 points occurred on Wednesday, February 8, in the East of Romania, in the County of Vrancea 11:52 local time, reports Point.md.
It is reported that the earthquake lies at a depth of 129 kilometers. The tremors were also felt in Moldova. Information about any victims or destructions did not arrive.
It is noted that the Vrancea County is located at the bend Srednesibirskoe ridge and is the most earthquake-prone in Romania.
Earlier it was reported that on 6 February 2017, in the province of çanakkale in Western Turkey, an earthquake of 5.3 magnitude.
