In an air strike on the rebel-held Syrian province of Idlib, on 7 February, 30 people were killed. About it reports Reuters, TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
Reportedly, the strikes have become one of the most powerful airstrikes in the last few months. As a result, about eight attacks, which, probably, was attacked by Russian fighter jets, destroyed several apartment buildings in residential areas of the North-Western part of the city.
Rescuers claim to have killed at least 30 people. The Syrian Observatory for human rights said about at least 26 killed, noting that the number of victims may increase, while it continues the search operation.
“We’re still pulling bodies from the rubble,” said a civil defence volunteer Issam al-Idlib.
Witnesses say the extent of the damage and debris indicate a possible attack from Russia.
In turn, as reported by “Interfax”, the Russian defense Ministry denies reports that the planes of Air and space forces inflicted air strike on the Syrian city of Idlib, adding that from 2017, the Russian air force did not cause any air strike on Idlib.
