Klimkin said in any case there will be martial law in Ukraine

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin believes that martial law can be imposed in case of deterioration of the situation on the front. He declared it on air of ICTV TV channel.

He noted that some countries at war can dispense with martial law.

“A state of war, martial law, Russian aggression are two different concepts. The aggression of the Russian Federation already is a matter of much more than a war, because the Russian aggression carried out not only by military means, but by definition, by all means: military and hybrid,” said Klimkin.

With regard to the imposition of martial law, the Minister said: “the Military situation in case of further deterioration of the security situation I do not exclude”.

Recall, February 3, AP Deputy Konstantin Eliseev said that the question of introducing martial law is not yet being discussed. “You know that the situation in the Donbass at the front is changeable, so it will be solved, of course, collective way, we have the Council of national security and defense, which will take an appropriate decision,” – said Elisha.
