Banks with Russian capital there is a bright future in the Ukrainian financial market. This was stated by the head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeria Gontareva, said in an interview “ЛІГА.net”.
“The banks with Russian capital are well-capitalized, even at Prominvestbank liquidity problems there. But we do not believe that they have a bright future in Ukraine”, – said the head of the NBU.
According to her, the market share of these banks has decreased from 15 to 8.8%.
“If I find buyers for its assets, we will be happy”, – said Gontareva.
Earlier, Gontareva said that the major bankruptcies of banks on the Ukrainian market will be no more.
As reported, Sberbank of Russia still has no plans to enter the Ukrainian market, where a subsidiary of the same name. As the head of Banca German Gref, the Bank’s assets in Ukraine “compressed”, but the oen sees “the prospects are very quick exit from the market”.
