German auto giant Volkswagen for 2016 has bypassed Japanese Toyota Motor sales cars, reports “Prime” with reference to Bloomberg.
Toyota’s global sales last year increased by 0,2% to 10,17 million vehicles, and Volkswagen during the same period increased sales by 3.8% to 10.3 million cars.
The last 4 years the Japanese automaker ranked first in sales in the world.
The Agency notes that Toyota is behind the VW because of the differences in the main direction of sales. The German group increased its sales in China due to lower taxes in this country. A Japanese manufacturer was affected by reduced demand in the United States.
