The Ministry of Finance will present a bill on the establishment of the financial investigation Service, accumulating the functions of the tax police and the economic divisions of power structures, at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, February 1. This was announced by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk.
“I served bill. He is already in the Cabinet. Next Wednesday he will be put to a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. We will have a discussion. I am sure that we will approve this bill and send to the Verkhovna Rada”, – said the Minister.
According to him, the adoption of the law will accelerate the reform of the State fiscal service and its transformation from a repressive body at the service to taxpayers.
Recall that in the framework of the Law of Ukraine “On amendments to the Tax code of Ukraine concerning improvement of investment climate in Ukraine” No. 1797 dated 21 December 2016, the tax police will continue its work and performance of duties prior to the adoption of the new law on its successor – the financial police.
