Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on the background of the decrees of the President of the United States Donald trump on refugees and the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico stated that “it is not time to build walls”, reports UNN, citing the Tasnim.
“Now is not the time to build walls between Nations. They forgotten how many years ago fell the Berlin wall?”, he said.
Rouhani noted that, “…if between the Nations is a wall, they should be removed”.
According to the President of Iran, currently we have all become neighbours in cultural, scientific and civilizational terms, and technology has allowed us to overcome the vast distances between the different States.
“No one can resist globalization today,” – said Rouhani.
Earlier, trump had signed a decree which States including the construction of a wall along the country’s border with Mexico. According to him, it can impose a tax on the import of goods from Mexico to cover the costs of the construction of the wall.
