Along with this, Poroshenko urged the European Parliament to support the proposal of the European Commission on granting Ukraine Autonomous trade preferences with the aim of promoting further diversification of Ukrainian exports under economic pressure from the Russian Federation.
Poroshenko also thanked the European Parliament for the observance of the policy of non-recognition of Russia’s annexation of Crimea and requested to actively oppose repression and human rights violations by Russia against Ukrainian citizens, including Crimean Tatars, as well as to facilitate the release of all illegally detained on the territory of the Russian Federation hostages.
