On Independence square in Central Kiev, launched a campaign “Stop Putin! Stop war!” which today also takes place in parallel in more than 50 countries.
About 100 of the participants holding national flags and posters, written appeals to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a demand to stop aggression against Ukraine.
Speakers noted that participants demanded from Russia to cease military actions against Ukraine, withdraw its troops and arms, to release Ukrainian hostages, to end the occupation of Crimea, as well as to the representatives of Special monitoring mission of the OSCE in the combat zone was present along the demarcation line every day and uncontrolled Ukrainian border with Russia.
The main goal of the campaign is to draw public attention to the Russian aggression in Ukraine, to show the importance of unity and solidarity with Ukraine, and also to call the whole world to step up pressure on Russia to restore territorial integrity and peace in Ukraine.
