Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Yarosh has called the destruction of the monument to the poles in the Lviv region “a vile provocation of the Russian special services.”
“Now, in war with the Moscow Empire, than ever, we need reliable allies. It is understood by all Ukrainian patriots and nationalists. That is why another vile provocation of Russian security services for the destruction of the monument to the poles who perished at the hands of Hitler’s executioners in 1944 in the village of Huta penyatskaya Brody district, Lviv region, will have no development,” wrote Yarosh on his page in Facebook.
He noted that “Kremlin agents” is valid not only in Ukraine but also in Poland, “trying to make trouble between” two people. The evidence he called “unfriendly towards Ukraine acts, and calls for action” in Poland. “I think Poland’s strategic ally Ukraine, and our two States – the Foundation of a future Baltic-black sea Union”, – Yarosh said, noting that the poles are fighting on the side of the punitive forces in the Donbas.
We will remind, a monument in Huta penyatskoy was established in memory of Polish citizens, burnt alive by the SS division “Galicia” in 1944. recently unidentified vandals broke the monument cross and plaques listing the names of the dead painted over the yellow-blue and red-black.
