In the current year the balances of the subsidies in Ukraine has decreased, and the Cabinet is considering different options to monetize them. This Savio Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.
A government spokesman noted that last year the amount of residue formed at the level of 12 billion UAH, however, this year the situation has changed.
“Before you speak, whether or not to monetize residues (on subsidies – Ed.) you need to understand whether these residues. Indeed, if we take the previous heating season, we have a serious amount of money balances by the end of 2015-16 topstone this amounted to about 12 billion UAH. But why this amount of residues formed? First and foremost, because we consciously went to the overstatement of certain consumption standards to the people was calm. … In 2016, this provision has been optimized. In my opinion, today the norm is optimal, then it will not be decremented and will be fixed for the next topstone”, – Rozenko said on the air “112 Ukraine”.
Also, according to Rozenko, the current winter is colder than last year, so gas consumption increased in all categories of consumers. Therefore, as Rozenko noted that the government is going to wait until at least February in order to understand whether the remains are formed on subsidies.
We will remind, earlier the head of “Naftogaz” Andrey Kobelev noted that Ukrainians can begin to monetized remains on subsidies in April 2017. As noted KOBOLEV, we are talking about the return of funds that Ukrainian families were able to save on utilities.
As reported, the Ukrainians this year will recalculate the amount of subsidy. The number of subsidianes by this time, I assume the Cabinet will rise to seven million families. The lion’s share of subsidianes issued a discount subject to the minimum income, which amounted to 1,600 hryvnia, and now upgraded to 3200 hryvnia.
