According to him, Republicans and Democrats are going to tighten sanctions against Russia.

“Both Democrats and Republicans together will provide a package of tougher sanctions. We do not think that the measures taken are sufficient to deter Russia”, – said the Congressman.

He noted that trump can get “decisive answer” to the sanctions imposed by Obama. Schiff stressed that the Americans have no doubt that Russia is behind hacking attacks.

“If he (trump) wants to win the trust, as President, he needs to stop thinking that way. He should cease to humiliate the American intelligence community, he must trust them, ” said Schiff, commenting on trump statements that still in question whether Russia was involved in the cyber attacks.
