41-year-old Argentine midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron has resumed his career and signed a contract with “Estudiantes”.
Veron promised to be back on the field in 2017, if his fans at least 65 percent will fill the new arena of “Estudiantes”. Fans fulfilled the condition, and Juan kept his word – contract 41-year-old midfielder is a year and a half.
Veron is President of the “Estudiantes”. The player promised that he would receive a minimal salary from the endowment Fund to the club. The return of Juan may be held January 8 – Cup Florida Estudiantes will play with the local Bayer.
Veron ended his career in 2014. The Argentinian previously played for Estudiantes, “Side juniors”, Sampdoria, Parma FC, SS Lazio, Manchester United, Chelsea and inter.
