Pechersk district court of Kyiv ordered the defence team of the former President Viktor Yanukovych acquainted with the materials of the case of treason for 17 days i.e. till 5 March. This was announced by the judge Vladimir Karaban, transfer “Ukrainian news”.
Thus, the court partially granted the petition of the Main military Prosecutor about restriction of term of acquaintance with case materials.
Recall that the prosecution in the case of treason against former President Viktor Yanukovych asked the court to set the period of familiarization with the case materials for its defenders. The prosecutors believe that the lawyers of Yanukovych, specifically delay the process.
