In Turkey, the Ukrainians have contracted the Coxsackie virus, which caused heavy consequences. The doctors say that in some cases it is fatal, reports 112.ua.
So, the people’s Deputy Vitaliy kupriy told that ill illness his friends on holiday in Turkey.
“Now in Turkey, came 20.07 on the third day the youngest child sick with the Coxsackie virus, but doctors did not say it. After that, all had been ill, sick I now, form of the disease scary: 4 days temperature of 40, then a rash the size of a pea all over my body and bursts, not sleeping the third day, plus diarrhea. And this was with all members of the family,” the MP quoted the words of his friend.

Coxsackie – what it is
Coxsackie got its name from the eponymous city in the US, where it was first discovered in the 1950-ies. The cause of could be the lack of clean drinking water, poor sanitation, contact with wastewater in the ponds, as well as disregard for the rules of hygiene. The virus can catch both adults and children under the age of ten years. It is transmitted through common dishes, dirty vegetables and fruits, unwashed hands and uncleaned drinking water.
As told UNN, head of the clinical diagnostic laboratory, hospital for infectious diseases, Institute of epidemiology and infectious diseases named gromashevskiy Alexander karlovski, the virus could spread in Ukraine.
“Coxsackie virus is spread fairly quickly fecal-water transfer mechanism, very fast. This enterovirus in the warm season is well preserved in the environment. Its speakers are people can be spread by the fecal-oral route, but can also be spread through respiratory secrets,” said the doctor.
He noted that the mortality rate is not large, but it all depends on the weakening of the body – that is, if it is accompanied by other diseases.

Symptoms
After infection the first symptoms can appear within 20 to 10 days. Infection occurs very quickly – this is a sharp rise in temperature to 39 degrees. People also experiencing headache and muscle. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, and the appearance of small painful vesicles and ulcers on the oral mucosa.
How to treat
To get rid of the disease, the need to reduce the fever antipyretic agents, as for ulcers, it is best to use the gels and sprays depending where they originated. After each meal the patient should rinse the mouth.
The affected areas on the skin treated with antiseptic, and also used antihistamines. Doctors advise to drink plenty of water to quickly rid the body of toxins and reduce the fever.
With proper treatment the disease should go away within 8-10 days.

Thus, the representative of the Department of consular service of the MFA of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich has appealed to the Ukrainian Embassy in Turkey to study the issue of contamination.
“The Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey have been instructed to work in cooperation with the responsible authorities of the country the question of the epidemiological situation and the results to make suggestions regarding the appropriateness of making recommendations to citizens of Ukraine”, – he said in comments to the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”.
