On the outskirts of the city of Helsinki on 31 December, the car crashed into several parked cars, drove about 300 meters on the sidewalk, and later crashed into a crowd of people. Local newspaper Helsingin Sanomat reports that the accident happened near the metro station.
As a result of accident at least seven people were injured. Three victims are in hospital in critical condition.
