The Ukraine for three years since the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU has significantly established on the path of reform, which are based on European standards. Thus the main task of the authorities is the statement of Ukraine as a successful European democracy. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, opening the plenary session of the 19th summit Ukraine – EU.
“We did more for the transformation of Ukraine than has been done over the previous years of independence. No country in the world holds such a deep and comprehensive reforms in the context of the ongoing external aggression. I am glad that such an assessment shared by our EU partners and international organizations”, – said the head of state.

According to him, the strategic task of the authorities is “the assertion of Ukraine as a successful European democracy with strong public institutions, competitive economy, integrated into the economic space of the EU.”
We will remind, today, on July 13, in the Administration of the President of Ukraine began the plenary session of the 19th summit Ukraine – EU. The meeting was attended by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the members of the government of Ukraine, the President of the EU Council Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and the members of the European Commission (EC).
