The DPRK said it was ready to test an Intercontinental ballistic missile at any time and in any place. This was stated by the representative of North Korea’s foreign Ministry, quoted by the state Agency of the country, KCNA, reports Channel News Asia.
“Intercontinental ballistic missile will be fired at any time and from any place specified by the Supreme command of the DPRK,” he said.
In the foreign Ministry of North Korea said that the development of such weapons, the DPRK has pushed a “hostile policy” of the United States.
Recall, January 1 North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN announced the approach of the country to test an Intercontinental ballistic missile.
ICBMs have a minimum range of 5,500 km, but some of them have a range of 10000 km or further. California is at a distance of about 9000 km from North Korea.
Last year, North Korea carried out eight attempts of the test launch of a ballistic medium-range missiles, only one run was successful.
Due to nuclear tests and ballistic missiles North Korea is under UN sanctions since 2006.
